The Democratisation of Digital Education and Knowledge-Digital Culture

Organisations must educate stakeholders, executives, and employees to build digital cultures about their potential impacts.

Companies must educate employees at every level, from leadership down to the new recruit, to ensure that everybody understands the implications of digital culture at every level.

Digital culture is not coming out a fortnight. There are distinct aspects that can gradually shape it 1. Awareness 2. Impacts 3. Challenges of using digital.

The other aspect is to support people in changing behaviours, the core of every culture shift. People can change behaviour and become digitally proficient and capable of supporting a lasting culture.

There are 3 elements to consider:

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: from the top of the organisational structure down to new employees.

𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: reinforce and empower people in the organisation for a seamless utilisation

𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: As digital technologies impact cross-functional areas, during a transformation, it is required to adjust and redesign skills, relationships, and processes.

The key word I love, to express the final regrouping outcome of a digital transformation with a digital culture embedded in the company, is the 𝘿𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚.

What is your view about Digital culture?
